Once upon a time, we lived in a sweet inconsequential world of
domesticity. We did every little daily thing together. We cooked
together; we ate dinners and cleaned dishes together; we slept
and woke up together; we hated the alarm clock at 7 am and the
pre-spring rain together. Inside our matchbox-size world we began
dying. Together.

Really enticing. Short and well shaped. Thank you for sharing.
Best.
Mister
It reminded me of the Fletwood Mac song 'Little Lies'
Not only the narrator lies to her significant other but also to herself (assuming that you are the narrator)
Best.
Mister
People live in worlds they create in their own minds, mostly. That kind of lie is the hardest to shake off. Unless you question the very foundation on which it was built, but then it is as if you were questioning the foundation of your own self. Tricky.
You can run from everything but from yourself.
And that is the hardest thing, the confrontation with the inner self.
