Provocative, Zuz! Rabbit ears, paper, light--to knee; I have been reading Wolfgang Borchert today & this is the happy tidbit to that. Along with Mr. Trout Fishing In America, of course I think of Adelaide Crapsey ("inventor of the [lovely] cinquain" form), my friend Cid Corman, Bob Arnold, and I suppose Rumi. George Oppen and Carl Rakosi, Joanne Kyger. . . . And I think you would like Melanie Braverman--her prose poems especially.

Ginsberg said, "the ordinary is made extraordinary by our attention to it." And in a word it is _felt_. --I love that a coin is spent to call someone only to express love. Love, for what--fifty cents [euros]? Reminds me of a Jack Hirschman poem about a coin in a soda cup (he thought the person was begging). Onward with the music, europa, the Beat, the Lit. Many thanks, Peter Money
